Scripts & Pictures Process
When scripting my story I first started by reading it outloud. When doing this I could take note of the parts where I needed to take breathe’s or pause to pace myself. From there I put in my image ques making sure they were mostly evenly spaced, and that they described the image that would be presented. Next I bold wording for emphasis as a reminder to speak louder on these parts and bold italicized as a reminder to read slowly and show lots of emotion. Then I changed my spacing to be larger so I wouldn’t lose my place when reading and made the font larger so I could read it easily. Lastly I changed the color of some ques so they would be easy for me to spot during my presentation.
For my slides I tried my best to choose images that made sense with what I was telling in my story. For example I talk about my mother and brother so I added a picture that included them both so you could have a visual. The requirements for the slide show were that we had to have six images total and a scanned image of our final drawing draft as the sixth slide.
